Course Overview

The Global Business Experience (2600511) is a mandatory course for all MBA Chula students designed to develop global awareness, cross-cultural understanding, and international business acumen. The course introduces students to the global business environment, cross-cultural thinking, and the strategic challenges of doing business in international markets.

Through a combination of academic instruction, field immersion, and intercultural collaboration, students gain firsthand insights into how organizations operate across diverse cultural and economic contexts.

As a major course deliverable, students are required to develop a business plan to venture into a new market across national boundaries, integrating analytical, strategic, and cultural perspectives learned throughout the course.


Course Structure

MBA Young Executive, Executive, and English Programs

Students will immerse themselves in global business contexts through:

  • Lectures and seminars by international professors and guest speakers from partner universities and global corporations.
  • Company visits and site tours abroad to observe business operations, innovation practices, and leadership models in real-world settings.
  • Workshops and reflective sessions connecting global management theory to practice.

These activities culminate in the development of a cross-border business plan, demonstrating students’ ability to apply global insights to a real market opportunity.

MBA Regular Program

Students in the Regular Program will engage in a domestic global learning experience in Thailand, joining international students from partner universities.

Through:

  • Joint workshops and collaborative projects,
  • Classroom lectures on global business trends, and
  • Company visits to multinational firms operating in Thailand,

students will gain practical understanding of how global business principles are applied in local contexts.

As part of their assessment, they will collaboratively design a business plan for entering or expanding into an international market, enabling them to apply global concepts to real-world opportunities within Thailand’s dynamic business environment.
